Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026 · Applies to fetchinu.fun and app.fetchinu.fun (the “Service”), operated by Fetch Inu (“we”, “us”).

The short version. We store what you ask the agent, what it answers, what you save and click, and the wallet address you link. We use it to run the Service, keep your credits and rewards straight, and pay affiliate rewards. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers. Your shopping queries are processed by Anthropic to generate answers and sent to Shopify to search the catalog. Merchants see only that a visitor arrived through a Fetch Inu link.

1. What we collect

Things you give us

Shopping requests and conversations. The text you send to the agent, the agent’s replies, the products it showed and your follow-ups.
Saved finds. Products you save.
Wallet address. If you connect a wallet, the public address and the one-time signed sign-in message. Never your private key or seed phrase.
Blockchain transactions. The hash and amount of $FINU top-ups you submit, and the hash of reward payouts we send you. Blockchain data is public by nature.

Things we record automatically

Session cookie. A random identifier (fi_sid) so your browser keeps its conversations, credits and saved finds. It contains no personal data and is not used for advertising.
Clicks. When you open a store link we record which offer, when, and which conversation it came from, and we add a click identifier to the link so the merchant’s affiliate program can attribute a purchase.
Conversions. If a merchant or affiliate network reports a purchase attributed to your click, we receive an order identifier, order total, currency, commission amount and status. We do not receive your name, address or payment details from the merchant.
Technical data. IP address, browser and device information, timestamps and error logs, kept in server logs for security and debugging.

2. How we use it

To run the agent: your request is sent to the AI model together with your conversation history so it can search, compare and answer.
To search products: your query and the shipping country and currency you use are sent to Shopify’s catalog service.
To keep your account straight: credits, top-ups, saved finds and conversation history are linked to your session and, if you link one, your wallet.
To pay rewards: clicks and conversions determine which purchases earn $FINU and how much, and your wallet address is where rewards are sent.
To keep the Service safe: detecting abuse, fraud and self-referral, and fixing bugs.
To improve the Service: aggregated, de-identified usage statistics.

3. Who we share it with

Anthropic (AI provider) receives your conversation text to generate the agent’s replies, under its API terms. We do not use your conversations to train models.
Shopify receives your search queries and localisation context through its Global Catalog service, and identifies Fetch Inu as the agent making the request.
Merchants and affiliate networks receive the click identifier in the link you open. What a merchant collects on its own site is governed by the merchant’s privacy policy. Merchants and networks send us conversion reports as described above.
Blockchain infrastructure providers (Robinhood Chain RPC providers) process transaction lookups and reward payouts. Transactions on a public blockchain are visible to anyone.
Hosting and service providers that store and process data on our behalf under contract.
Authorities when the law requires it, and successors if the Service is transferred to another operator.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Cookies

The Service uses one strictly necessary session cookie (fi_sid, up to 90 days). Because it is required for the Service to work, no consent banner is shown. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address to serve the font files.

5. Retention

Conversations and saved finds: until you delete them or ask us to, or the session has been inactive for 12 months.
Credits, top-ups, clicks, conversions and rewards: for as long as needed to operate the programme and meet accounting and tax obligations (typically 7 years for financial records).
Server logs: up to 90 days.

6. Your choices and rights

You can use the Service without linking a wallet, and you can sign out to unlink your browser from your wallet at any time.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to keep records of paid rewards and credits for legal reasons.
We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effect. The agent’s product ranking affects only what you see.

7. Security

Session cookies are signed, wallet sign-in uses cryptographic signatures, reward payouts are recorded so each reward is paid once, and access to production data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; please use a wallet you control and be careful with links.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes

We will post changes to this policy here with a new effective date, and highlight material changes in the app.
